Small Rosemary Garlic Artisan Bread
Our sourdough bread is made from a start that we feed every day. It is kneaded and proofed in our home kitchen and is baked in a cast iron Dutch oven. It is made with flour that is milled from cleaned, sound hard red wheat, water, some of our sourdough start as well as some sea salt and a pinch of yeast. This hybrid approach creates a lighter flavored sourdough bread with less holes (better to make your sandwiches with, my dear) and a golden crumbly crust. We add rosemary and garlic to our classic dough recipe to give it the perfect herb:tang ratio. Sure to be a crowd pleaser, rosemary and garlic has a mild flavor but makes for perfect variety at the dinner table.
