Professional Local Farm
Mind Your Own Farm is a local family-run Farm that has been producing delicious produce, bread, soaps and baby farm animals since 2019. We decided that self sufficiency was now more important than ever and so we dove head first into the farming world. We gathered a menagerie of animals, from goats to turkeys, started our large garden and planted 6 fruit trees.
We dove into homesteading research and found that self sufficiency was not a pipe dream, it could be reality! Josy learned to make breads by devouring books, watching YouTube videos and taking lessons from her friends. Once she was capable of making consistent loaves of bread, she started selling them at the farmers market. Now, years later, we sell on average 80 loaves of bread per week and are in the process of starting our mobile pizzeria.
We believe firmly that every living thing on earth is happier, healthier and more at ease when they have a job-a purpose and a sense of accomplishment. So we pulled up our britches and set to work. We strive to make the most of everything the great outdoors has to offer. Our products are fresh from the field, so you can be sure you are buying the best quality produce. We are so much more than a Farm - we are a family striving to live in harmony with nature, the animals and the fruits and vegetables that sustain us. Whether you would like to purchase an animal, hatching eggs, vegetables, fruits, bread, jams or natural goat milk soaps or even learn to do these things yourself, we’ve got it all!
HOMEMADE SOURDOUGH BREADS

Our sourdough bread has a lighter sour taste than a long fermented bread. We add just a pinch of yeast to assist the bread in rising more quickly and consistently making for a tighter crumb, lighter taste and better sandwich making experience. Each of our loaves are made in cast iron Dutch ovens to aid in hydration and crumbly golden crust. With a crunchy outside and soft but chewy inside, we have found that our customers love the flavor and texture of our bread because of our hybrid approach! We have been told by many of our customers that they simply love our Homemade breads, and we can’t say we blame them. That’s because everything we grow and make at Mind Your Own Farm is grown with love and made with care, so our food looks better, smells better, and tastes better. Try it out yourself.
SHIRLEY
Meet Shirley! Shirley is one of our sweetest does. She has freshened once for us so far and her sweet boy is pictured with her here! She is a wonderful milker and produces the sweetest milk we've tasted here. Shirley enjoys long naps on the hay in the sun and hunting for the perfect onion patch.
AGNES
Meet Agnes. She is our only registered alpine we have here at our farm. She produces a gallon of milk a day at her peak and she is an excellent mother. We are very proud of our girl and she is incredibly sweet.
MERIWETHER
Meriwether is a Nigerian dwarf pigmy cross that we raised as a bottle kid. Meriwether was actually the first goat we ever got here. She has a blissful naivity about her and we love her to pieces. She is a good little milker giving us a quart a day at her peak!
